Enjoy creating lasting impact working with children in Ghana. Basic education in Ghana consists of Primary and Junior High School. Children in Primary school are between the ages of 6 -11 years old and 12- 15 years for Junior High School. Children at this level acquire basic literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills as well as skills for creativity and healthy living.
Depending on the interest, skills, and qualifications of the volunteer, they will be assigned to a class as a teaching assistant with supervision and guidance from permanent staff. Participants will live with host families and work in the communities where they are placed.
